Volleyball lost their conference opener in five sets to Oregon State last night. The Ducks won almost all statistical categories, helped by a dominating first set win, but couldn’t pull off the match victory. Next up is 18th ranked Utah in Eugene.

As the Ducks reach their bye week, ESPN lists Oregon as a heavy favorite to win the conference and the only remaining Pac 12 team with a chance to make the playoff. Through the article notes (rather obviously) that the Ducks would have to win out to have a chance.

It’s HIHwW for soccer. The Ducks travel to Seattle for their conference opener today against the huskies. Uw enters conference place 4-2-2 compared while the Ducks have not lost a match in their last 6.

The Daily Emerald profiles Thomas Graham, who talks a lot on and off the field and has become a leader of the strong Oregon defense so far this year. Graham says that he’s not only concerned with improving the team for his tenure, but also for the future.
