Men’s basketball defeated Arizona last night in overtime. Oregon overcame a six point deficit with under two minutes in regulation. The Ducks were lead by 21 points, including the game winning basket, from Will Richardson.
Women’s basketball is looking to continue the hot start to conference play as they head to the desert this weekend. The Ducks averaged 96 points per game and allowed 48.6 points per game in the first weekend after coach Graves perceived a non conference season funk.
Mike Leach is heading to Mississippi State removing probably the biggest thorn in the Ducks side as head coach in the Pac 12 North over the past five years. Leach coached teams had beaten the Ducks four of the last five years with Oregon struggling to find a way to defend the Air Raid.
