EUGENE, OREGON - The Oregon Ducks (14-3, 3-1) protected their home court against Arizona State (10-6, 1-2) in a 78-69 victory.

Payton Pritchard and Remy Martin tallied 29 points and six assists apiece, but ultimately Pritchard won the duel in front of 9,213 Duck fans by tying his career high in points scored and triples made.

1ST HALF: Payton Pritchard opened the scoring with a triple, then Remy Martin responded with a three-pointer of his own, setting the stage for an entertaining battle of the point guards. Taeshon Cherry scored the next goal from downtown, but Anthony Mathis tied it at 6-6 shortly after. Martin reclaimed the lead with a pair of free throws, but Pritchard answered with his second triple of the night which got the crowd on their feet.

Pritchard made a highlight play by connecting with Shakur Juiston on a no-look pass that gave the Ducks a 17-12 lead; the senior guard also nearly matched his career-high six triples in the first half by going 5-of-7 from three-point range. The Sun Devils kept it close with some impressive shooting of their own, tying the game at 24 apiece at the 8:44 mark with a Jaelen House three-pointer, but Oregon was able to build a nine-point lead going into halftime.

2ND HALF: Oregon scored the first five points of the second half with a layup by Chris Duarte and a triple by Payton Pritchard, giving the Ducks a 14-point lead, their largest of the night. Francis Okoro fouled out and a Romello White free throw brought the lead to single digits, then some fierce and crafty play by Martin made it a two-score game with 1:41 left in the contest.

Oregon hit only 60.9% of their shots from the charity stripe, but down the stretch they hit 4-of-6 free throws in the final minutes to seal the win. A road trip to Pullman to take on Washington State is next for Altman and the Ducks.
