Women’s basketball wrapped up a weekend sweep of the Beavers, 66-57. The win was the first in Corvallis for every coach and player on the Ducks team. The Ducks play seven of their next nine games on the road, including a trip east to play at UConn.
Oregon men’s basketball defeated UCLA, 96-75, to improve to 6-2 in conference and complete a home sweep of the L.A. schools. The margin was Oregon’s biggest win over UCLA since 2003. The Ducks were lead by Chris Duarte with 24 points, 6 rebounds, 6 steals, and 5 assists.
Men’s tennis defeated South Alabama to improve to 4-2 so far in the dual meet season. The Ducks won 4-0 and the win breaks a two match losing streak. The ducks will play three of the next four matches in Eugene.
Justin Herbert was named MVP of the Senior Bowl. Herbert played one quarter of football and opened with a touchdown drive in which he was 6-6. Herbert finished the game 9-13 with 83 yards and a TD pass.
