Dana Altman’s done it again!

The Oregon Ducks have added another talented prospect in four-star center Franck Kepnang. Though he’s currently listed as part of the class of 2021, Kepnang plans to reclassify into the 2020 recruiting class where he’ll either redshirt or play immediately.

According to the 247 composite, Kepnang is the sixth best center in his class and the 27th overall prospect. The 6-foot-11, 247-pound shot-blocker played for Westtown School in Norristown, Pennsylvania.

He chose Oregon over Texas A&M, Maryland, Auburn, UConn, Georgia and Ohio State. Ranked at No. 25, he’s the third ESPN 100 pledge to commit to Oregon’s 2021 class - the other two being No. 8 Nathan Bittle and No. 47 Johnathan Lawson - though he may be called into action this season.

Kepnang has the build and shot-blocking ability to make an immediate impact as a true freshman, but a couple seasons under Altman’s watch should improve his draft stock, especially if he can develop his offensive game.

Welcome to the flock!
