The Oregon Ducks have been on a hot streak when it comes to the recruiting trail, and that trend continued tonight when Jeffery Bassa announced he was taking his talents to Eugene. Bassa is the 7th ranked player from Utah and 44th at the safety position, according to 247 sports.

At 6’3 and 200 lbs, Bassa held offers from schools such as Arizona, Arizona State, Oklahoma State, Oregon State and others before narrowing down his top 3 to Utah, Oklahoma State and Oregon.
Bassa is the latest addition to Oregon’s 3rd ranked recruiting class, joining other standout defenders like Keith Brown, Jaylin Davies, Brandon Buckner and Keanu Williams. Bassa is a welcome addition to the Ducks, and Duck fans should be excited about what he and the rest of this class will bring once they arrive to Eugene.
