The West Linn, OR native heads to Boston after a very successful college career in Eugene, finishing as the Ducks career leader in assists and winning the Pac-12 Player of the Year award as a senior. He lead the Ducks to a 24-7 (13-5 conference) record and were looking to repeat as Pac-12 Tournament Champs before Covid-19 forced the NCAA to cancel all postseason tournaments.

With a successful college career now behind him, Pritchard looks to make an impact at the next level, joining a very talented Boston Celtics team. Playing with stars like Kemba Walker, Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown, Pritchard has a chance to carve out a role on a contending team due to his shooting and passing ability.
No matter where he goes in his professional journey, Payton will always be a Duck and we couldn’t be prouder. Good luck Payton, Ducks Nation will always be rooting for you!
