EUGENE, OREGON - The #17 Oregon Ducks (19-6, 8-4) rallied from a double-digit deficit to beat the #16 Colorado Buffaloes (19-6, 8-4) by a score of 68 to 60 in front of a crowd of 9,275 at Matt Knight Arena.

1ST HALF: Payton Prichard scored the game’s opening bucket and Oregon was able to build a 6-2 lead early, but Colorado was able to tie it at ten with 13:21 left in the half. Chris Duarte and Anthony Mathis hit consecutive three-pointers to reclaim the lead, however, the Buffs responded with 20 unanswered points to go up 30 to 18 at the 3:30 mark.
Colorado hit six triples in the opening half, four of which took place during a six-and-a-half minute Duck drought that mercifully ended with a Duarte jumper. Pritchard made his first triple with 1:15 left and the Ducks finished the half trailing the Buffs, 35 to 26.
2ND HALF: Shane Gatling hit a triple to kick off the second half scoring, giving the Buffs a 12-point lead. It took the Ducks until the 17:49 mark to score their first goal of the half - a Chandler Lawson layup after the freshman stole the ball from a Buffalo. Later, Will Richardson hit a three that cut the lead to five, then CJ Walker hit a pair of free throws that made it a one-possession game. But D’Shawn Schwartz and Lucas Siewert hit back-to-back triples to go up 49 to 40.
After a media timeout, Anthony Mathis hit a three that ignited a Duck rally. Oregon tied the game at 58 apiece with a little under 4:20 remaining, then a three-pointer from Richardson gave the Ducks their first lead since 16-15 in the opening half. In the final four minutes, Oregon outscored Colorado 10 to 2, resulting in yet another highly competitive victory for the Ducks.
Will Richardson matched a career high with his 21 points (17 of which came in the second half) and tallied a new high of nine rebounds. Payton Pritchard recorded a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds, and five different Ducks notched multiple steals.
Oregon takes on Utah next and will hope to remain atop the PAC-12.
