Ruthy Hebard lead the Ducks to a dismantling of UConn in Connecticut by a final score of 74-56. Hebard had her 50th career double double with 22 points and 12 rebounds. The loss for UConn was the worst home loss since 1986, predating their current venue.

The Daily Emerald has a profile on Oregon senior Shakur Juiston. Juiston transfered to Oregon this year from UNLV as a graduate transfer after sitting out his senior season at UNLV with an injured knee.

Oregon men’s and women’s indoor track teams both moved into the top ten of the NCAA rankings. The men jumped from 17th to 8th, in part on the strength of a new NCAA record in the distance medley relay of 9:24.52. The women improved to 9th overall from 17th.

On a personal note, I spoke to Adam over the weekend and this will be my last week of regular Quack Fixes. This was a personal decision based on existing time commitments and feeling a need to scale back a little bit. I intend to still be a member of this great community.

As always, Go Ducks.
