Quack Fix 1-7-20: My Final Fix

Softball opened their season with win via the run rule, 8-0, over Utah Valley. The Ducks were lead offensively by Terra McGowan who went 2-4 with five RBIs. Oregon is in Puerto Vallarta for a season opening tournament, and will play both BYU and Georgetown today.

Women’s basketball faces the top scorer in the league today in Aari McDonald and the 12th ranked Arizona Wildcats. The Ducks defense has improved significantly in their current 8 game winning streak, and Minyon Moore has emerged as an elite wing defender.

Men’s golf started their season in Hawaii yesterday and sit in 8th place at 6 under par as a team after the first round. The Ducks were lead in round one by Freshman Nate Stember who shot 4 under par individually, good for 10th individually in the tournament.

Jordan Bell and Dillon Brooks have officially been reunited in the NBA. The duo lead Oregon to the Final Four in the 2016-17 basketball season, and will now play together in Memphis as Bell was traded their yesterday at the trade deadline.
