Ionescu is the first woman to achieve this honor unanimously since Breanna Stewart of UCONN. She had all 30 votes.
Like Stewart before her, Ionescu is expected to be the first overall selection in the upcoming WNBA draft.
It's a shame that her collegiate career ended the way it did as Oregon was well on their way to winning a national championship. It turns out that only a pandemic could have stopped the irresistible Ionescu. It will be the biggest what if in sports history for a long time.
She's also the first woman ever to cross the 2,000 points, 1,000 assists, and 1,000 rebounds plateau.
Congratulations, Sabrina!
