Despite losing Ruthy Hebard, Satou Sabally, Minyon Moore and Sabrina Ionescu, the Oregon Women’s basketball team is ready to unleash hell on the PAC-12 when college basketball is finally ready to be played.
Coach Kelly Graves landed coveted transfer Taylor Mikesell to the roster, though it’s likely she wont be able to play until the 2021-22 season due to bogus transfer rules. Mikesell was a five-star recruit in the class of 2018 and has experience playing with fellow Duck Sedona Prince - while sophomores in high school, the two played for Team USA’s U-17 team.
At Maryland, Mikesell was the 2018-19 Big Ten Freshman of the Year and also earned honorable mention as a sophomore for the all-conference honors. She’s a 5’ 11 sharpshooter that averaged 11.2 points per game and 42.5 percent from downtown. She helped lead her team to a Big Ten title.
