Just before the outbreak of Covid-19 made in person visits impossible, dozens of recruits visited Eugene for their Junior Day event. Among them was Terrell Tilmon, a three-star defensive end/outside linebacker out of Timberview High School in Arlington, Texas.

“I have always dreamed about playing college football since I was little and can’t believe I have the opportunity to do that. First, I’d like to thank God for giving me the strength and opportunity to play the sport I love. I’d like to thank my family for always supporting me, and a big thank you to my mom and dad for making the sacrifices to get me where I am today. I know it was tough but I promise it will pay off. I’d like to thank the Mansfield Timberview coaching staff for building me up to be a great player and an even better person. I’d like to thank all of the coaches that have given me an opportunity to play at their school. Last, but not least, I’d like to thank my friends, brothers and teammates, for pushing me and never letting me give up on myself. With that being said, I will be taking my talents and committing to the University of Oregon.”
The 6’4, 200-pound Texan had offers from Washington State, Utah, Arizona, Baylor, Boise State, Colorado, Kansas State, Minnesota and Texas Tech. 247Sports has him ranked as the 33rd best defensive end in the country and places Oregon’s 2021 recruiting class at 27th nationally and second in the PAC-12 behind USC.
So far Oregon’s 2021 class consists of six pledges: C Jackson Light, 4* WR Kyron Ware-Hudson, 4* LB Keith Brown, 4* RB Seven McGee, 4* QB Ty Thompson and now 3* DE Terrell Tilmon.
