The Ducks have earned their fourth commitment in the past week with the addition of 3-star cornerback Darren Barkins. The 6-foot-1, 170-pound corner join Jadarrius Perkins, Brandon Buckner and Moliki Matavao in the recent wave of Duck commitments, reassuring fans that Cristobal and company have no intention of slowing down on the recruiting trail.

Barkins had offers from Arizona, Cal, Oregon State, UCLA, Washington, Washington State, Oklahoma, UNLV, Boise State and others. The addition of Barkins and Perkins should help Oregon transition after Graham and Lenoir graduate. The Ducks now have twelve total commitments for the 2021 recruiting cyclye, and the 247 Composite has them at No. 10 nationally - a week ago, nation was ranked No. 20.
The new Duck CB plays for Mater Dei Catholic High School and is rated the No. 64 cornerback and is the 770th overall prospect.
