The Ducks just landed a huge commit for the 2021 season! Troy Franklin, the 6-2, 170 pound wide receiver out of Menlo Park, California chose the Ducks live on Instagram over Alabama, Arizona State and Lossington.
He is a high four-star that played at Menlo-Atherton high school and is now the highest rated player in Oregon’s 2021 class, according to the 247 composite. He is the No. 2 receiver in the country, the No. 3 prospect in the state of California, and the country’s No. 31 overall prospect. Franklin had 25 offers before whittling his list down to the top four.

The fact that his family will be able to drive to games played a big part in his commitment, and Coach McClendon also apparently made a big impression on the young star. Now that Franklin has joined the flock, Oregon’s recruiting class for 2021 is at No. 8 nationally. But hold on to your butts, because June should be a huge month for Oregon recruiting.
