Jordon Scott
Defensive Tackle - 6’1”, 325 lbs. - Largo, FL - Senior
Manning the middle of Oregon’s defense for his fourth year, Jordon Scott has been a force in Oregon’s run-stopping game for longer than opposing teams probably appreciate. Scott’s impact along the line of scrimmage has helped Oregon maintain one of the top rush defenses in the Pac-12, and should he play he’ll lead as a veteran in the trenches of a 2020 season like none other.
2019

Scott has been a model of stability his whole career. While manning the middle of an Oregon Ducks defense that ranked 13th in the nation in yards allowed, the nose tackle played in 13 of 14 games. At the end of his junior season, Scott had started in 37 of 38 games in his career and was named Coaches Pac-12 All-Conference honorable mention for the second time. His 32 tackles in 2019 nearly tied a career-best set as a freshman. Scott forced three tackles for a loss and started off hot once again in the TFL category, recording 1.5 TFL in the season-opener for a second consecutive season.
2018
In arguably Scott’s least productive year, he earned some of the accolades that he likely should have as a freshman. He was AP Pac-12 All-Conference second team, Phil Steele’s Pac-12 All-Conference Third team and Coaches Pac-12 All-conference honorable mention. Scott totaled 29 tackles, 3.5 TFL and one sack as a sophomore. He started in all 13 games and graded out as a top 10 defensive lineman in the Pac-12 against the run, according to Pro Football Focus.
2017
Statistically Scott’s sophomore year might have looked more like a sophomore slump, but that’s only because he was so good as a freshman. Not only did he stand out on tape, he also stood out to his counterparts, earning the Freshman of the Year Award voted on by his teammates. Scott also took home FWAA Freshman All-American and 247Sports True Freshman All-American for his efforts. In 13 games, he started the final 11, setting a career-high as a freshman in tackles with 34, TFL with 4.5 and sacks with two.
Recruitment
Coming out of one of the top football states in the nation, Scott was tabbed as the 106th prospect in the state of Florida by ESPN and a consensus three-star. Making a name for himself even from a young age, Scott was a talented run-stopper and was named to the first-team Florida 7A All-State team as a junior. The defensive tackle was ranked No. 51 in the country at his position. Scott committed to Oregon over schools from his home state such as Florida, Florida State and FAU as well as projected top 25 program, Minnesota.
