Oregon picked up a big commitment tonight when 4* OT Kingsley Suamataia, out of Orem, Utah, announced his intent to play for the Ducks on an Instagram Live video. Suamataia joins a loaded offensive line for the 2021 class, joining Jackson Light, Bram Walden, and Jonah Miller. Currently rated as the No. 1 prospect from Utah and the No. 9 OT in the 2021 class, Kingsley is listed as standing 6’5 and 280 lbs.

The Top 100 Player chose the Ducks over Utah, Utah State, USC, BYU, & others

Suamataia chose Oregon over BYU, Utah, USC and Viriginia. Though he was considered an Oregon lean over the last few months, USC was seen as the strongest contender to steal him from the Ducks. Suamataia’s commitment couldn’t have come at a better time for Oregon, considering star tackle Penei Sewell had just announced his intent to sit out any return to football in order to prepare for the NFL Draft.
With Kingsley’s commitment, Oregon has reclaimed the 3rd ranked class in 2021, and currently has the No. 1 prospect from Oregon, Utah, New York, Arizona, Colorado and Nevada.
‘Sco Ducks!
