We all knew some of our favorite Ducks would be heading to the pros, due to the cancellation of the 2020 football season, but it still hurts now that the time has arrived. Deommodore Lenoir, one of Oregon’s veteran starting cornerbacks, has declared for the NFL draft.

Lenoir became an official starter during his sophomore season and has since started the last 27 consecutive games. He was a big reason the Ducks’ defense began to trend upward after being a weak spot for many years. During his junior season, he tallied 47 tackles, 2.5 TFLs, an interception, both a forced fumble and a recovered fumble, and seven pass break ups.
The talented senior announced his decision to return to the program along with Oregon defensive standouts Thomas Graham Jr, Austin Faoliu, and Jordon Scott. Yesterday, the Ducks’ fantastic offensive tackle, Penei Sewell, declared for the draft, and it’s likely we’ll see more Ducks migrate towards the NFL.
Times have been tough, and very little is certain in this world, so get your money Lenoir! Once a Duck always a Duck!
