The Ducks gained a huge boost to their 2022 class when they landed the commitment of 5 star Dior Johnson on Tuesday. Johnson, the No. 1 Point Guard in the 2022 class, is the second highest ranked commitment in Oregon’s recruiting history, only behind Bol Bol.

Dior chose Oregon over other programs such as Alabama, Washington and Kentucky, as well as passing up the NBL, in favor of the Ducks and Dana Altman. When asked about his decision, Johnson said that he picked Oregon because of the great relationships he had with the staff, namely Coach Altman and Coach Crutchfield, a newer addition to the Ducks staff.

Johnson is the lone commit to Oregon’s 2022 class, but his commitment alone gives the Ducks the no. 7 ranked class. He’ll be a welcome addition to the Ducks!
