Oregon’s 2022 class just scored another big commitment, as 5 star Center Kel’el Ware from North Little Rock, Arkansas, announced his verbal commitment to the Ducks today. Ware is the 15th best player in the 2022 class, and third overall center. He chose the Ducks over offers from Arkansas, Texas, Ole Miss and others.

Ware is the second commit of Oregon’s class, joining 5 star point guard Dior Johnson, making Oregon’s class the 8th in the nation, bumping it up from 21st. He joins a proverbial forest in Oregon’s frontcourt, which currently is set to feature N’Faly Dante, Franck Kepnang, Nathan Bittle and Isaac Johnson, who all stand at 6’11 or taller.
Kel’el is described on 247’s player profile as a oozing with natural talent and elite upside. He has great size and length and is fluid for a player his size. He’s a huge pickup for Oregon and Dana Altman, who have been on a role lately in terms of recruiting.
