The Oregon Ducks are one of the hottest teams in the country at the moment, thanks in no small part to Dillon Brooks. With wins in seven of their last eight games and a sweep of Arizona and Arizona State, Brooks has been named national player of the week by two different organizations:

Brooks averaged 21 points in the desert sweep and his team jumped from No. 23 to No. 16 in the most recent AP poll, the largest jump in the country.
The Oregon standout had already been named Pac-12 player of the week for his efforts.
Against Arizona on Thursday, Brooks scored 24 points on 10-of-19 shooting as Oregon snapped a 49-game home winning streak, the longest in the nation. Against Arizona State Sunday, Brooks scored 18 points on 5-of-11 shooting and grabbed six rebounds.
Next up, the Ducks look to get revenge on Colorado Thursday night at 6 p.m. and then face Utah next Sunday at 1 p.m.
