Oregon Ducks basketball coach Dana Altman will be honored for his outstanding career this week, and in a way you might not expect.
He'll be inducted into the Omaha Sports Hall of Fame owing to his time as the head coach at Creighton University.

Here's his resume that led to the honor:
Altman is a former Creighton University Basketball head coach and current University of Oregon Basketball head coach. He is a seven-time Conference Coach of the Year and owns over 550 career wins. Altman led Creighton from 1994-2010, compiling a 327-176 record and taking the Bluejays to 13 postseasons, including seven NCAA Tournaments.
The induction ceremony is set for April 21 at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. If Oregon keeps playing like it did this past season there should be many more honors to come for Altman.
