While the world still has its sights on the Olympics in South America, the Oregon Ducks basketball team is prepping to head to Europe to play against teams from across the ocean.
Above, watch as head coach Dana Altman previews the trip.
"I want the guys to have fun," he says. "We're getting ready for a six month season. Our season is so long. I don’t want to put pressure on them, I want them to have fun. I want them to enjoy each other’s company and see some sights."
College basketball programs can take one overseas trip every four years, and can hold up to 10 practices ahead of it to get prepared.

Altman jokes that the players may not be excited to see some of the churches and museums, but they’ll definitely enjoy the beach. The preseason appears to be going pretty well so far.
"I like our athleticism, our size, we’re a little bigger than we were before," says Altman. "The guys have played really unselfishly which I think is a big key for us this year."
The Ducks head to Portland Saturday and will fly to Spain Sunday.
