New Oregon Ducks Quarterbacks Coach David Yost has put pen to paper on a two-year contract that will see him earn $350,000 per year, according to OregonLive.
Yost came from Washington State, where he had been inside receivers coach, in January and signed his contract earlier this month.
His contract includes the potential for several bonuses, including four months of base salary if Oregon wins the national title and two months base pay for winning the Pac-12. OregonLive reports that the Ducks' other position coaches earn between $315,000 and $410,000 per year. Yost made $243,000 last year at Washington State.
Prior to WSU, Yost spent 12 years at Missouri, rising to become the Tigers' offensive coordinator and assistant head coach. Yost will work with new offensive coordinator Matt Lubick to develop Oregon's quarterbacks, including highly touted Montana State transfer Dakota Prukop.
