Morgan Mahalak's career with the Oregon Ducks is over as he takes his talents to the east coast.
Mahalak will transfer to Towson, an FCS school in Maryland, per several media outlets. Mahalak was a four-star recruit and the fifth-ranked dual-threat quarterback of the 2014 class. He announced his plans to transfer last week and can play for the Tigers right away because they are in a lower division.

Towson is no slouch at the FCS level, appearing in the national championship game in 2014. Mahalak will be a redshirt sophomore with three seasons of eligibility remaining. He was Oregon's scout team quarterback during the 2015 season.
