Vernon Adams didn't let going undrafted get to him, and now the former Oregon Ducks quarterback will get his shot at the NFL.
The QB's tryout with the Seattle Seahawks begins today at rookie minicamp. Adams will compete against Trevone Boykin, an undrafted free agent from TCU, and against Jake Heaps. Tavaris Jackson has been the Seahawks backup for some time but hasn't resigned with them yet.
Even if Adams doesn't catch on in Washington state, he's got a shot in the other Washington with the Redskins. Should both teams pass, he can head north of the border, where the B.C. Lions hold his CFL rights.
