The Oregon Ducks have announced a major home-and-home series with the Big 12’s Texas Tech Red Raiders.
The two teams will play in Lubbock on Sept. 9, 2023, and in Eugene Sept. 7, 2024. It’s another Power 5 matchup for the Ducks, who already have future non-con games scheduled with ACC, SEC and Big Ten teams.
Oregon and TTU have met twice before, with the Ducks beating the Red Raiders in 1991 and 1992. Both schools are known for high-scoring offense, although they will obviously look much different seven and eight seasons from now.
Per GoDucks.com, the contract for the matchups include a $400,000 guarantee to be paid to each road team, which will be provided a minimum 2,500 tickets for its fans. Oregon will also play Hawaii in both 2023 and 2024, leaving one non-conference game open for those seasons.
