Mark Helfrich Invites Larry David to Coach at Oregon

"We would welcome with open arms Larry David to come on out and shadow coach Lubick."

Larry David wants to coach football, and Mark Helfrich agrees.

David, the creator of Seinfeld, recently said he thinks he could become an offensive coordinator after shadowing someone holding the position for a year.

Hearing about the idea, Oregon Ducks coach Mark Helfrich offered David a spot, as you can see in the above Campus Insiders video.

"We would welcome with open arms Larry David to come on out and shadow [Ducks OC Matt] Lubick," he says.

At age 69, David would be entering the profession late in life, but he's not worried.

"What could be so hard about it!?" he asked Dan Patrick. "You make up plays. Why is that so hard?"

If he can create Seinfeld, maybe he can draw up a good read option.
