Jim Leavitt is still getting settled in with the Oregon Ducks, but he’s already one of the more colorful personalities in the program.
The Ducks’ new defensive coordinator is also a pretty good follow on Twitter. For example, he made a snow angel today at Autzen Stadium:
I knew the Lord would bring the snow for a Snow Angel in Autzen! First one in 2017. Man am I fired up!! Go Ducks! pic.twitter.com/6TFqB6HAz8

The former USF head coach joined the Oregon coaching staff from Colorado in mid-December.
Leavitt served as the original head coach at South Florida from 1997-2009, compiling a 95-57 record. He then went to the NFL where he served as linebackers coach for the San Francisco 49ers from 2011-2014 before returning to college as Colorado’s defensive coordinator for the past two seasons.
He’ll earn $1.15 million while trying to turn around perhaps the worst defense in Ducks history.
Leavitt definitely doesn’t lack in enthusiasm or creativity, and apparently snow angels are sort of a tradition for him.
This was my noon workout! Making a snow angel in Folsom Field. It was an exhilarating 2 Pepsi Experience! Go Buffs! pic.twitter.com/ToX1VgegOg
