- The men's basketball team closed out the regular season last night with a 65-62 win in Corvallis last night. Joe Young led the way with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. The win guaranteed a top-three conference finish and a first round bye in the Pac-12 tournament.
- In Joey Bracket's March 4th projection, the Ducks are a 10-seed in the NCAA tournament and one of the last four teams with a first round bye. However, the win over Oregon State last night may have secured a bid for the Ducks.
- In case you needed another reason to root for Pharaoh Brown to recover from his injury (although I don't know why you would), last week he stopped by an elementary school to spend time with the students who had sent him letters wishing him a speedy recovery.
- The women's basketball team heads to Seattle to begin the Pac-12 tournament today at 11:30 a.m. PT. The Ducks (10th seed) will be taking on Washington State (7th seed) in the first round matchup.
