- Oregon baseball's hopes at the postseason took another shot as they fell to OSU in a non-conference game 10-2 yesterday.
- Your No. 1 Oregon softball team is closing in on their third straight conference title. They close out the regular season with a series starting Thursday at no. 17 Arizona. Oregon is fresh off absolutely obliterating No. 18 California. While Oregon has only 2 conference losses on the season, they have only a one-game lead on UCLA. Another sweep would guarantee them an outright title no matter how UCLA performs against ASU.
- Recruiting in Oregon is better than normal this year. Oregon is pursuing a number of in-state prospects. Current 2016 commit Brady Breeze out of Central Catholic was nominated for the US Army All-American team.
- Oregon spent a lot of money travelling to the College Football Playoffs. A LOT of money. How surprising that two trips for hundreds of people around New Year's wouldn't be cheap. Despite the cost, the Ducks still made a pretty good amount from their postseason success.
Video of the Day
This has nothing to do with the Ducks, but I miss Parks and Rec. And since embedding is disabled, just click the link and enjoy a great 10 minutes (note, probably NSFW for language and sex jokes).
