Robert Hanashiro-USA TODAY Sports

  • Pac-12 Football Media Days start today and continue through tomorrow in Los Angeles. As in years past, the head coach, one offensive and one defensive player from each team will get their turn in the hot seat. Oregon's slot is set for Friday from 12:25 - 12:38 p.m., and Mark Helfrich, Royce Freeman, and Rodney Hardick will be representing the Ducks. Pac-12 Networks will be airing live from the event from 9:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m on both days, and you can also watch Media Days events LIVE online here.
  • While no groundbreaking information is expected to be revealed during the media event, CBS Sports listed their five things to watch during Pac-12 Media Days.
  • Writers for ESPN.com's Pac-12 blog revealed their selections in the annual football preseason media poll. Note: 3 out of 5 predict Oregon will continue to reign as the conference champion (the other two votes went to UCLA and ASU).
  • All 12 of the Pac-12 head coaches made an appearance at ESPN on Wednesday. Ivan Maisel had plenty of questions for Helfrich - listen to the interview on ESPN's Championship Drive podcast.
  • Marcus Mariota had a legendary college career, but how will he adjust to competing at the next level? The crew over at Comcast SportsNet Northwest discussed the former Oregon star's transition into the NFL.
