Oregon's recruiting class went to the next level this afternoon after 5-star guard JaQuan Lyle announced his commitment to the Ducks.
JaQuan Lyle officially announces that he's chosen Oregon. He's a 6'5" guard, and 24/7 Sports's #22 overall player in 2014 class.

Oregon continues to hit Indiana hard. The Ducks now hold commitments in 2014 from Indiana natives Michael Chandler & JaQuan Lyle.

Duck Territory's Matt Prehm had this to say about Lyle this morning:
If Oregon is to land Lyle the Ducks will be adding a guard who can play the point or also off the ball as a shooting guard. He's got the size to guard the small forward position as well. He's an excellent passer who sees the court very well and sets up teammates perfectly.
Lyle also had this to say about Oregon when he visited in February:
"I liked everything about it," Lyle said. "I got to meet coach Dana [Altman] in person and meet the coaching staff. I got to see a great game, got to see all the facilities, so I like it. I like it a lot. It was a great visit."
Lyle joins an already stellar recruiting class that includes 4-star transfer center Michael Chandler, 3-star PF Ray Kasongo, 3-star PG Casey Benson, 4-star SG transfer Brandon Austin, 4-star JUCO SF Dwayne Benjamin, and 4-star PF Jordan Bell, who was originally part of the 2013 class but will play his freshman year in 2014. Benson and Kasongo are probably underrated which means this class is LOADED with talent and very balanced, the best class that Altman has signed since arriving in Eugene.
