The Oregon Ducks have a good shot at landing a top running back from Georgia, and he'll be on campus this week.
Trey Sermon, a four-star RB from the Atlanta area, will be in Eugene from Tuesday to Thursday. The 6-0, 215-pound prospect holds offers from more than 30 schools, but has Oregon listed in his top six along with Auburn, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida and Oklahoma.
A flock of prospects will attending the Ducks' spring game this weekend, but Sermon couldn't make it due to a track meet.
"I'm very interested in their program and I just want to see how everything works," Sermon told The Oregonian. "I want to connect with the coaches and be around it. I want to see how they practice and the environment."
Sermon is thought to be leaning toward Oklahoma, followed by Georgia and Auburn, but an on-campus visit can make a huge impression on a potential recruit.
