Florida-Based OL Nick Brahms Names Oregon Ducks in Top Two

Ducks offered Brahms on Tuesday.

Navarre, Florida offensive tackle Nick Brahms is a big fan of the Oregon Ducks, telling 247Sports the school is in his top two less than 24 hours after getting his offer.

Brahms stands 6-5, 280 pounds and is picking up offers left and right. Even though he's from the other side of the country, the 2017 prospect is high on Oregon:

"It's a huge offer," Brahms said. "Oregon has one of the best football programs in the nation. They run an offense that I think suits me well because of my athleticism. The coaches made me feel welcomed and I'm going to go on a visit up there soon.

"Their fast pace is a style of play with which I am familiar and comfortable playing. I'm also very excited about their world class academics. I have always loved the outdoors and wanted to see the Pacific Northwest. Them and Tennessee are my top two schools right now, and it's an honor to get an offer from both of them."

He's since picked up an offer from North Carolina and likes the Tar Heels as well. Other schools with interest include Minnesota, Louisville, Miami (Fl), Virginia and UCF. It could be tough to beat out Tennessee, the first SEC school to step forward with an offer.
